and they aren’t happy about it.

You attended a school in IOWA with 70% white people and you’re unhappy the culture is shockingly tilted that way? Somebody get these snowflakes a binky.

As an Iowa fan this is upsetting, Kirk Ferentz has been a classy stand up guy for 20+ years at Iowa and this is all coming out now??? Give me a f'in break... they had to conform to a set of rules that was uniform across the board... so are you telling me that military boot camp is now racist??? This is absurb... hate to see what comes out across college football and america in the next couple weeks. This guy also trained and made many of these players a lot of money in the NFL.

Edit for upsetting as in are these guys serious? Acting professional is now considered racist.

In case you haven't noticed, there is a sizeable group of people who think getting an education and generally following the rules is "acting white"

Imagine if a white person went to Florida A&M and then complained the school culture was too black and demanded it change to accommodate their preferences. That person would be called a racist.

Because every race on the planet is allowed to have their own countries and spaces except for one.

That’s so fricking absurd. They can’t even point to an actual incident of racism. Literally their complaint is they didn’t feel comfortable acting traditionally urban.

What a fricking time

Nobody made whites leave Europe and colonize the world. Every race had their own countries until whites weren't happy with theirs and decided to take others lands and force their culture and customs on the rest of the world.

This is the result. None of us asked for this we all just have to make the best out of a situation none of us created.

Oh that darn ambition. Guess the world needs to give back reparations to whitey for all those years of using those pesky little inventions, such as:

The combustion engine, the telephone, the telegraph, space flight, the internet, mass electricity, the automobile, the printing press, classical music, the sports stadium, running water, paved roads, the light bulb, vaccines, Flight and airplanes, physics, the rubber tire, the log cabin, trains, telescopes, automobiles, computers, refrigeration, the skyscraper, modern medicine, antibiotics, toilets, television, the photograph, eyeglasses, plastics, satellites and GPS, sewage treatment, irrigation, and let's see... About 99% of everything else everyone uses.

Hey, can't stop living with "white culture" till all his traces are gone, right?

We get it every thing great that ever happened in the history of the Earth happened because the white man made it so.

You call genocide and enslavement of populaces ambition, but not every one sees it that way.

When American soldiers are in the middle east not all foreign citizens see them as the great liberators some see them as foreign invaders.

Its all a matter of perspective.

England doesn't neighbor any African countries neither does France. I don't think you know what the word neighbor means.

You also have zero clue of how the rest of world would have developed without European colonization.

Nobody has "blamed" whites for being in America is just the reality of how we came to be here.

You can't colonize the world and spread your languages and cultures then complain about you don't have your own spaces.

Your posts have nothing to do with the topic, this is about a bunch of black athletes who got a free scholarship, who if asked to act like a mature civilized adult... thinks they are being profiled against... so now every office workplace is now racist for having a dress code? How far are we going to go... this needs to blow up, right in their stupid faces... I guess you strike when the iron is hot...pussies everyone of them... I am ashamed to have rooted for them, sorry but this one hurts... Kirk Ferentz has a loyal backing here. This might now turn out the way they want it to. And if kirk ferentz gets fired over this, you wont see a fan in the stand.

Nobody is firing Kirk Ferentz for not fostering a comfortable atmosphere for black players. Thats his prerogative. Iowas is not getting elite black players regardless.

It was just comments from players on their experience at Iowa.

Seems like a horrible place for a black kid to go to school.

That is the thing, no reason at all... apparently our S&C said some racist things to players and if that is the case then he needs to go... they weren't oppressed... hell they all played meaningful downs, they didn't like that they had to be held to a certain standard and act appropriate. Like I said If this is racism... what is the U.S Military gonna do about basic training?

Sorry, that’s BS. At Iowa, they can be student athletes at a P5 while playing a game they love while getting a top quality education for free.

They are student athletes, not prisoners. Iowa City seems like a great environment to go to school. Being surrounded by a majority white population does not by default render a “horrible” experience.

Stop repeating a bunch of empty talking points that have no basis in reality.
