There was a vote on social media and Pooka defeated Kenny Hillard in the finals. Kind of hard to believe when Louisiana has such a history of great HS RBs like Joe McKnight, Fournette, Nick Brossette, Marshall Faulk, etc.

Thoughts on Pooka getting this distinction?

Fournette, Dalton Hilliard, Kevin Faulk, Travis Etienne, Joe McKnight

Pooka Williams isn't even close to being in the same category as any of these. That honor is a joke. Maybe they are talking strictly high school career?? I have no clue of Pookas numbers and how they stack up to those others.

Les Miles was probably the only person allowed to vote in this bracket.

I think it’s a safe assumption they’re only considering HS performance. Especially if Pooka was selected as the best ever.

How are Cecil Collins (#1 in the state for yards) and Dwayne Woods (was #2 and won 2 state championships) not considered high in this list?

This is absurd. Pooka went over 3k his senior year and brought Hahnville to the state championship by his god damn self. Travis ettiene wasnt even close to Pooka as a highschool player. Yall better put some respect on Pooka's name.
