Yeah man, those historic programs like Tulane and Kansas really give Bama a run for their money.
Bama's schedule from the 60's through the 70's leaves a lot to be desired in racking up their wins and titles.
Take a look at Alabama from 1967 to 1975..they played only 12 games against Non-Southern teams.
Bama won only 2 of the 12 games vs Non-Southern teams going 2-9-1.
From 1971 to 1981 Alabama had a marvelous record of 116-15-1 (88%) in 132 games.
But they were:
98-5-1 95% - vs Southern teams and
18-10 64% - vs everybody else / Non-Southern teams.
I don't care what program you are trying to push for this debate. CFB can't be a part of it. Not only is it based on voting...but teams played disparate schedules and competition all across history. It wasn't a level playing field - because CFB doesn't have a uniform league nor a playoff like Pro Sports.

Nailed it. Not to mention the process by which teams were selected to play in the championship games in CFB was extremely arbitrary and flawed.

When CFB teams were playing those type games the Steelers were a YMCA/ city club type team, if they even existed.

Would college basketball be UCLA or UK?
Edit: Definitely Bama for cfb, they have 9 AP/Coaches titles that can't be disputed, more than any other school.
