In your scenario, it would be:
1.OSU
2.TCU
3.LSU
4.UGA

Would make zero sense. This was the week for USC to jump LSU if they were going to do it.

The committee is saying with these rankings that 2 loss SEC Champ LSU is in. If LSU loses then they'll put USC over LSU. There's no reason to flip them back to back in the last two polls.

USC should be #5.

Good for LSU. Who in top 15 would they be favored over? Serious question.

Playoff Committee is still in love with Bama after all these years.

Beating Alabama is like a Willy-Wonka Golden Ticket.

So has the Committee set a precedent? If USC and LSU both win out and USC has 1 less loss and is the Pac12 champion, can they flip-flop at the last minute or are we going to get another fricking rematch...The more they tinker with CFB, the more ratings go down.

LSU/Georgia...TCU/Ohio State

No fricking shot in hell USC is being left out if they win both their remaining games.

They won't set up a rematch.

1. OSU
2. TCU
3. UGA
4. LSU

Part of me wants that to happen. The sooner we get rid of the current scam, the better.

Even better would be:

1. Ohio State
2. TCU
3. USC
4. Clemson

Dude it is very possible USC will jump LSU ahead of the Championship games.
It's not that far fetched.

Not only is it not far fetched, it’s probably likely if USC beats ND.

could quiet possibly be a huge game of leap frog
Yeah, this is likely how it will be. If they both win out they'll leap frog each other the next couple of weeks.

Why would they leap LSU after beating Notre Dame but not after UCLA while LSU was eating a cupcake?

Not that A&M is good currently, but it's still a potential SEC road win.

If there was a possibility of USC jumping SEC Champion LSU then they would already be ahead of LSU. This is the committee saying LSU is in if they win the SEC.

It's the most clear cut and direct way of doing things. They have the possibility of LSU losing in their back pocket. Which would knock LSU out and open up a spot for USC or someone else.

Which is stupid. LSU should already be eliminated without some 2007 level shite to let them back in.

The team that beat Arkansas by 3 without KJ Jefferson is #5?
