They absolutely do. MNF is so much better with Troy and joe. Monday night football was fun last year for sure. But it hasn’t felt like a massive game in years. The new announcing team definitely makes the games seem bigger.

I’m watching Peyton and Eli because announcers don’t matter unless you’re blind or listening on radio.

On the flip side I got tired of Buck and Aikman calling seemingly every Packers game.

But they don't actively make people watch or not watch.

Troy and Joe are among my least favorite NFL announcers. But yeah, I really couldnt care less who's announcing.

When I had the Sunday Ticket, I'd often tune into whatever game Harlan was on. And internationally avoid whatever game Nantz and Simms were assigned.

There are a lot people who just turn off the sound or turn on the radio broadcast... While watching on TV.

The best football announcers have unique voices and styles, not like Joe Buck who sounds like he's reading a teleprompter and pissed about having to do it
