They didn't completely F over the program. Penn State could be good again in 10 years. Pretty decent punishment.

- 4 year post season ban
- any player entering or currently enrolled in penn state athletics may transfer and play immediately at any school provided they meet all eligibility requirements
- all wins vacated from 1998-2011 time period

This seems like an appropriate course of action give the goal of what they are trying to do. I really hope it gives some comfort to the victims families. I say those penalties are pretty damn harsh.

Pretty sure that is when it got reported to PSU authorities and nothing was done about it. They aren't being punished for what Sandusky did. They are being punished because it was brought to their attention and nothing was done about it.
