Demps was getting fired either way from the Davis thing.
If he would’ve traded Davis for table scraps it would’ve only further tarnish his reputation and the pelicans weren’t going to let him be the one to make the trade

Good. I said a while ago that they should fire him as soon as possible and let someone else navigate this pivotal period in the franchise.
The earlier new people can be brought in, the more time they have to formulate a strategy for the future and prepare for the summer.
