Like last year, i'll find 2 horses to close and get a piece with the favorite, they cant beat gun runner.
nailed it last year, with baffert running 1st and Stronach horse running 2nd.

You have to decide whether you think gun runner can lose.
If he can, then a box is ok, if you think he's the nuts, then straight exactas.
I was going to beat baffert last year, then said, he's not losing, do straight exactas.
If ur not dead set on gunrunner, a 4 horse box would be what you want. He runs out of top 2, and you get ur other 3 in top 2, you can make some $$$.
It's all on whether u think GR is unbeatable.

Hard to bet against Gun Runner, but I'm not sure how this horse with Florent Geroux will do at Gulfstream. I am leaning to West Coast or Sharp Azteca. West Coast ridden by Javier Castalleno who already won two races today. Tyler Gaffalione won race 9 on Jordan's Henny at 60/1, he is on Fear the Cowboy, Johnny V is on Seeking the Soul, and Gunnevera is ridden by Luis Saez, who won 7 races last Wednesday. Gun Runner is a superior horse, but I always look for the value bet.

Collected is looking pretty good, IMO.
Eta - if any of these horses can overcome an outside starting position, it's gun runner.

Mike Smith is a hall of fame jockey, but hasn't done much lately, that's why Collected is not on my list.

Yea, that was some weak arse racing by the rest.
But gun runner saw that and took it and was patient with collected. But, collected and west coast, or anyone else for that matter, really had no chance. When gun runner wanted to take over, he did.

Yeah Gun Runner has a way to make other horses look weak. Understand all of these other horses are champions in their own right. Take Gun Runner out of that mix and you have a good race. West Coast gave it a good run, but was simply outclassed. I was able to hit the trifecta and superfecta. Was basically betting on 10-2-4-6 taking the top three spots with 7,8,11 getting 4th.
