I mean you do know that if ND losses they are likely out without a conference title game that the B1G champ likely gets in right?

Seriously, tell me how Bama or Clemson would stop Mayfield?

OU wouldn't put up near the points they have on Clemson. That Tiger defense is miles ahead of where they were 2 years ago when they waxed OU. And Clemson's offense is balanced with a healthy Kelly Bryant at QB and Feaster and Etienne at RB. OU's defense would be eaten alive by Clemson. Right now Clemson's biggest threat to not making the playoff is in South Florida waxing Notre Dame right now.

They wouldn't. They would hope to outscore him.

Oklahoma is the class this year for sure.

Numbers and the eye test all back them up

OU’s defense would be a ? In this game but otherwise what???

OU’s offense is far and away best in the country of the elite teams.

While I have no doubt that OU can and will score on any team this year. By the same token, what of OU's D do you see a team that Bama or Clem would not go up and down the field vs the Sooner D?

I created a thread about this topic last week but Oklahoma doesn't have the profile of a national championship winning team. The team with the lowest defensive FEI over the last 10 years was Ohio State having the #16 ranked DFEI in 2014. No other team had a defense ranked outside the top 10. OU's defense is ranked 71st in defensive FEI. If OU wins the title this year, they would be an extreme outlier.

I saw your thread last week and appreciated the data. Have you rerun your numbers after the defensive performance against TCU?

Last night was easily OUs most complete performance of the season. If their defense plays like that going forward, they won’t lose another game this season.

How to stop OU?

Don't give them the ball
Be efficientin the red zone, play solid 3rd down defense.

Be Iowa State like in the closing moments, with significantly better talent

I watched a really bad Texas team play OU very close. Not a believer.

So Wisconsin, a team that just beat its first ranked team of the season (#24 at that), is going to skull drag the number 1 offense in the country who has 3 top 10 wins? Lol, ok
