Joe Montana had great players around him on offense, yet you don't count that against him in the landscape of your great debate. Weird how that works.

Manning has also had better players to throw the ball to. Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, etc. And then you have the pro bowlers he was throwing to last year and this year.

Would you rather have a probowl wr or the best head coach in the modern era and the #1 defense in the nfl?

Montana GOAT

Jerry Rice, John Taylor, Roger Craig, and others didn't hurt.

Monatana won Super Bowls with a completely different cast of characters on his first few attempts.

except Roger Craig played in the win over the Dolphins.

Brady did the same thing though.

won with a totally different supporting cast.

And that's why Brady has moved past Montana on my list of all-time great QBs.

Since when are yards more important than points?

Seattle gave up 14.6 PPG in 2013 and 16.3 PPG in 2014.

Tom Brady playoff record: 21-8 (number 1 by the way...go figure)

Peyton Manning playoff record: 11-13

I think their statistics were better this year because their entire division was weaker after Arizona lost Palmer and San fran went missing. I could be wrong though.

Belichick without Brady as his starter in New England: 5-11
Belichick with Brady as his starter in New England: 170-54

Also...I think it can easily be said that New England didn't have the best defense in the NFL this year. And yet Brady still won the Super Bowl....against the best defense in the NFL.

Head to head matchup:

11-5 (playoffs 2-2) in favor of Brady.

Interesting...

Can someone list Brady's best 4 throws from tonight?

I honestly think 80-90% of the starters in the NFL would have done the same or better than he did tonight.

The Seattle Seahawks were actually better this year, statistically, on defense then they were last year

Wait, so NOW you want to only use the playoffs? At least be consistent.

Patriots without Brady went 11-5
Indy without Manning gets the #1 draft pick.

Wait. You don't think Montana and 1000 other QBs could make the stupid arse throws Brady made tonight?!

Oh my god

As I previously pointed out, Seattle gave up 14.6 PPG in 2013 and 16.3 PPG in 2014.

But yeah, everything he pointed out was fact.

Less than a 2-point differential? Yeah....negligible. You are really reaching with that stat. Denver would have lost 43-10 instead of 43-8 going by that stat.
