Well, I hope you win with him. As you can see from my other posts, I'm intrigued about the Saints situation, but skeptical at the same time. This could be feast or famine. Good luck.

Since Romo is still out, I picked up Johnson. My backup Warner. I don't know if I should start Johnson against TB at home, or Warner against Car. on road

Warner.

I don't know what Sammy's status is, but I don't look for BenJarvis to have a big game. Faulk, maybe, but probably won't have a bunch of yards. If the Pats go up early, that would probably benefit BJGE, but those Haslett-coached Rams seem to be on a mission. This is a no-win proposition unless Morris is healthy and able to play.

The Rams D is 25th in the league against the rush. And GE had 4 times as many carries as Faulk when Sammy got hurt. I guess I'll just have to wait and see if SM is gonna play.

I've got a dilemma, I would like people's opinion on which 5 of these should start. Each has upside, but also a question mark.

2 WR, 2 RB, and a flex (WR/RB).

S. Jackson, RB - Questionable w/Quad
B. Westbrook, RB - Probable w/Ribs
C. Johnson, RB - Splits carries
L. White, RB - Splits carries
W. Welker, WR - Cassel at QB
T. Houshmenzadeh, WR - Fitzpatrick at QB
T. Holt, WR - Having down season
K. Curtis, WR - First game back from sports hernia

All that you have said is true. BJGE got carries when the game was won and the Pats were trying to kill the clock. He also averaged 5 yards a carry, but it didn't seem like he was getting anywhere when I was watching. I am wondering whether the Pats would have the same confidence in him with the game on the line.

You have to make your own decision and it sounds like you've made up your mind. Are you looking for reassurance or do you think you need to be swayed a different direction?

Looking at the stats from week to week, both of these QBs have been quite average this season. Detroit is certainly the cure for what ails a mediocre QB, although Portis certainly won't mind looking like a stud again. I doubt the Steelers will fall far enough behind to make throwing a necessity. Thus, I like Jason.

is it smart to have ronnie brown and chad pennington in the smae lineup for one week? pennington is my bye replacement but others on the market are russel, matt ryan, and falco. I kinda have no other choice

Pick 2: Marshawn Lynch, Willis McGahee, Mewelde moore (if he starts)

Pennington won't be that bad for one week. Brown will probably have an average game. I doubt any of those possible replacements would be predicted to do better. Notice I say predicted because, as you know, on any given Sunday . . .

There is a big fat "if" that makes is impossible to really judge this group. If Moore starts, I'd start him over McGahee. If Parker starts and expects to play, then I'd play McGahee. McGahee and Moore are actually pretty close given that the Steelers don't play Cinci again this week. Either way, I'd start Lynch. Guy's a monster.

It's kind of difficult to answer this when we don't know anything about your team, your league, or who's out there. If you're in an 8-team league, the answer would be different from what I'd tell someone in a 12-team league that starts three WRs. If you use cbssportsline.com, go to the free agents page and sort the available WRs by "week 8 projections." When you've done that, come back and post the top three with their match ups for this week and any other considerations (injuries to the WR or his QB). You'll get some real advice then.
