Thanks for the advice on Orton. Picked him up. Should I keep favre starting this week, or try to pick up someone else for this week. He's had poor starts the last two weeks and has a lot of off the field issues with having to explain what he said to Millen. I don't think its a big deal, but I'm sure its on his mind worrying about his image. Of course he has excelled in the past when faced with off the field issues.

Thought I'd let everyone know in here, Matt Jones is playing this week. His suspension starts next week.

He was dropped prematurely in my league, so I'm going after him on waivers. I have #3 priority, so I'll probably get him.

So my question:

At Flex:
Julius Jones @ SF
or
Matt Jones vs. Cleveland

It sounds like Seattle will be using Morris more this week, but last time they tried this JJones stepped up and had a great first four games of the season. On the other hand, I think MJones will have a great game to prove his worth right before his suspension.

Obviously, I'm leaning towards MJones, any differing opinions?

Schaub or Warner??

Schaub. Did you see what Carolina did to Brees last week? Warner is capable of putting up good numbers, especially if Boldin is back, but Schaub is the safer bet.

Well, I haven't really looked at his match up, but if Garcia is out there, everyone is predicting that he will have a big game against Dallas. With Favre playing KC, he may try to show off, but could try to play to safe, too. Look at Garcia. If he's not there, I'm not sure what could be better than Favre (not knowing who else is available for pick up). One word of note, I saw somewhere that Cotchery is out and his replacement is some guy I've never heard of.

Sammy Morris or Backup Green Ellis
Morris did not participate in teams walkthrough practice Wed. NE is @ H v STL

Westbrook or Buckhalter
Westbrook expected to play and start. Buckhalter still expected to play significant role. PHI @ H v ATL

QB/WR HELP...!

Since Romo is still out, I picked up Johnson. My backup Warner. I don't know if I should start Johnson against TB at home, or Warner against Car. on road

Also, Chris Chambers is still questionable, so i picked up Malcolm Floyd....who has done awesome in place of Chambers. Debating whether or not to put Floyd in for Roy Williams. Not sure if the are going to get Williams involved with the Cowboys gameplan yet.

I am big fan of Bowe (and Dorsey) and hope they both have great careers, but IMO, KC is the worse team in the league. Without a quarterback, sans LJ, and trouble is running rampant. Steve Smith is projected to have a big game this week, which will benefit Mushin, who seems to be comfortable with Smith's leftovers. If Bowe has a big week, it will be a fluke; with Mushin, you expect respectable stats. I think you get my point.

I don't know what Sammy's status is, but I don't look for BenJarvis to have a big game. Faulk, maybe, but probably won't have a bunch of yards. If the Pats go up early, that would probably benefit BJGE, but those Haslett-coached Rams seem to be on a mission. This is a no-win proposition unless Morris is healthy and able to play.

If Westbrook plays, I would play him.

Johnson looked really bad last week so I'd go with Warner.

At WR, Williams likely won't make many catches but could make one big play and be worth a start, but I generally don't like to start a guy hoping for 1 big play. I don't really like the idea of playing Floyd either though. Look at Chansi Stuckey of the Jets instead of Floyd. Jets play KC this week. Not sure where you play, but he's only owned in 25% of ESPN leagues.

I got a trade offer: I give up Thomas Jones for Earnest Graham and Tony Gonzalez.

My TE is Bo Scaife and RBs are Steven Jackson, Michael Turner, and Jones. Other RB is DeAngelo Williams who I don't have much confidence in.

I have MJD, so I'm hoping Taylor doesn't have a big day. In this group, you've got to sit McFadden. I think the Deuce option is interesting though. How much will the team rely on him with Bush out? On the other hand, Portis racked up some pretty good stats against the Browns last week. Let us know what you decide.

Are you sure Reggie is going to play? You know Kevin Curtis is back this week for sure. I am weary about Reggie, but only for this week. Bruce, on the other hand, is pretty much hit or miss and then there are QB issues on the left coast. Still, the veteran Bruce has got to be a calming force in a sea of turmoil (plus the Hawks' D isn't that great and they let Bruce run all over them in September). I'd start Bruce.

I am very interested to see how Deuce plays this week. Will the team get it's act together? Will the weather in London affect play? Will Deuce be able to take up the Bush slack? Very interesting, but probably not worth putting a fantasy game on the line. Dunn is questionable and the Cowboys are unlikely to buy a defense between now and Sunday. I'd go with Graham and watch the Saints play the Chargers just for fun.

I'd like an answer to this one re Coltson, too. I haven't heard squat about whether he's healthy or just a decoy. I am hoping for the former, but preparing for the latter.

I did read today that Boldin is doing great in practice and is hoping to play. Everyone says he's fine, but they are being cautious because of the serious nature of his injury.

More importantly: is Willie Parker in or out?
