Just seems like its a very WEIRD feeling week in my gut for some reason.
This +10000000000
I'm not really comfortable with my bet: Ohio State (-7.5), Arkansas State (-12.5), USC (-18).

I want to have faith, but it certainly hurts my pride when 2 of my lines have made backwards movement of 2 points in a day

Very solid.
How much are you laying down and how much can you win?
It pays 1.2 to 1. I put down 3.6 units to win 3.

I'd be completely shocked if you didn't win.
Nice job.

I dunno, I like your Okie lite and Nebraska picks.
I was confident in winning both of those until everyone started panicking

yeah same here, I have both as well

These are my only plays right now. The reason I haven't done more is because I was very confident in them, but am waivering now. I'll still hit the over on 1st half Oregon when I get the chance

I still really like NC St.
Then hoping the SEC shows up the ex Big12 in both games. Worse case scenario there is a split IMO.

Perception off the field won't change anything on the field. Don't overthink the room. Do your research and if you like the team, bet them confidently.
Although Okie lite has a freshman QB and lost Blackmon, the system is still in place to put gobs of points on the board and quite frankly, I don't think Arizona is that good.
Just like people think it's too "cliche" to bet what seems to be an easy lock, I'd argue it's just as, if not more, "cliche" to go against your gut just because it seems "too easy".
Don't overthink your bets.

OKST also has a pretty solid running game from what I understand. If they get up big they can hold that lead. Arizona doesn't stand a chance.

I agree. I don't see them putting up 70+, but I do think they will score a good bit and certainly enough to cover.
I will also be looking intently for/at the 1st half over for the Oregon game. After last week, it'd have to be pretty high to not take it.

I took 1st Q over last week at 14.5, they covered it in a heartbeat

Here are my thoughts on the panic, if you see a line moving the opposite way you want, don't start betting games to "make up" for the first game. If you start taking game you didn't plan on taking before, then you're gonna hit trouble.
Sure, you might take a loss on the first game, but it's worse when you bet a game you don't like and end up losing two.
Just my two cents. This is another reason I like betting 1* for each game and going for higher volume. One RLM and it's not the end of the world, just 1* unit (and it still might cover).

Also, people should keep in mind RLM is not the kiss of death. It's only a reason for concern, not panic.
I still feel good about Okie St. I predict a lot of people asking why the hell we didn't load up Saturday around midnight when Okie lt is up by 21.

Read that when RLM over 1 point happened in NFL last season, the side won almost 60% of the time.

I don't understand. So in this case OKST would win 60% of the time?

Totally agree. Don't let your emotions affect your betting. If you do, you're gonna have a bad time.
Posted on 9/5/12 at 1:15 pm to TexasTiger1185
The side the smart money was on won 60% of the time in NFL last season. Around 59% NCAA.
Mainly bet with the sharps.

Agreed VegasPro, but no sense in panicking if the deed is already done. Certainly can't hedge your bet on Arizona now, so just sit tight.
Good luck all!
