Great playoff hockey is intense from the opening face off. Win a game 5-1, lose a crushing game in overtime. Get destroyed at home, win a huge series-tying game that could be the difference in your postseason. Dallas dug deep for that win.

Dallas manhandled tAvalanche for the 3ed and OT. Defense was nasty. Killed that PP and held McK in check. Avs need to dial up some grit.

Caps dominated for 50 minutes and that 10 minutes they let up, Montreal made them pay. Hopefully a good learning lesson for them and lucky to get the W. Fun night of hockey. That blowing lead triggered so much ptsd of playoffs past

And I usuallly never do this with the Caps...
* Logan has not played in a few weeks and looked like he did not miss a beat
* the team has not played a meaningful game in months and had passion...found a way to win
* we are missing Protas and Martin Fehervary and looked pretty good
* Ryan Leanord will only get better...showing some flashes

Can’t wait for Protas to return. Arguably our best player and still almost no one has heard of him outside of Caps fans.

Would love to see Ottawa win. Been too long. Last time they were relevant they took the penguins to game 7 in the ECF in 2017
