Hamilton at 4 years and less than $100million I would take in a heartbeat. He is still an elite talent.
And I would be lukewarm with Andrus for Upton. Our outfield would be insane but Andrus is an amazing talent.
Greinke would be nice unless it costs Texas over $150million and with the Dodgers fighting for him could easily happen.

He work ethic, his laziness and his fragility tell me that unless I'm paying him $10-$15 million a year, I do not want. Do you remember how last year ended?

Nobody knows what Profar is. He is a great prospect, but guys tear up the minors all the time and suck in the majors. Andrus is a sure thing. He is an outstanding ballplayer. Unless I'm getting a 1 or 2 in the rotation, I would not trade Andrus until I know what Profar is.

Felix wants to win as a Mariner, if the next 4-5 years don't work out he might change his tune. Texas and St Louis definitely had the pieces to make things interesting for Seattle.

I think Andrus for Upton is a great deal for the Rangers. Andrus is a great player, but it allows the Rangers to lose Hamilton and the infield next year will be Beltre - Profar - Kinsler - Olt/Moreland
Hanging on to both Profar and Andrus is a waste of assets. One of them needs to go, and be turned into a useful player.

Oh I remember and I was extremely upset as well. But I also remember how he started, his numbers that he has put up, and how opposing teams pitch to Beltre and Cruz differently with Hamilton in the lineup.
I also see Hamilton moving to a 1B/OF/DH role in the next couple of years. Which is why anything over 4 years is stupid.

Unless the mariner's GM pulls his head outta his arse, Felix is staying put. It's like he thinks they're on the cusp of contending and trading Felix would piss it away. They could get one HELL of a haul but he refuses. They're going to end up losing him in FA with nothing to show for it.
Supposedly Cashman has kicked the tires several times in the last few years to no avail.
