I'm really struggling to understand this situation. Is it not clear as day that he didn't murder this girl? Things aren't adding up. If he goes completely undrafted, it has to mean there's a relatively high chance that he killed her.

Jesus, do you hear yourself right now?

Yes.

There's absolutely no reason why he shouldn't be drafted. None. My post was a bit of an exaggeration saying how stupid it would be if nobody takes him. Basically, if nobody takes him at all, the only possible explanation could be that he actually did it. Because right now, there's ZERO reason not to draft the guy.

Uncertainty.

NFL hates distractions, uncertainty, and bad PR.

That's not true

They say they don't like it. They act a much different way. It doesn't really matter what you do, you'll have a spot on some team if you're good enough.

This is either very serious, or it's not. LSU fans think he's inncocent without question. Or at least most of them do. This can't go both ways. If it's common knowledge that he hasn't done ANYTHING wrong, he'll be drafted.

You are weighing a persons guilt or innocence based on whether or not he gets drafted.

I think it might be time to step away from sports for a while for you.

No, no I'm not. Or at least I'm not intending to.

Give me one reason why he shouldn't be drafted. And do you think there's a chance he murdered this girl?

Because the police want to talk him in connection with a murder.

If no other information is available, NFL teams would rather not deal with the uncertainty, wait until he's cleared, and then try to sign him.

Its not like the draft is the only way they can get him.

I'm not walking into your pigeonholed questions, it's more complicated than those two unrelated questions.

There is not enough information out there to jump to a conclusion that he did it just because he didn't get drafted

NFL teams know about as much as we do, which is almost nothing

I know you're trying to force this into an LSU thing, but come on

BRPD has openly said they don't believe he's a suspect. I heard that this whole situation snowballed because he was out of town & BRPD could not check his Instagram page on his whereabouts. Because Collins keeps his profile private.

I assure you I'm not. I'm just as sure as y'all that he hasn't murdered anybody.

Well he didn't spend 21 years of his life in your hometown being with a squeaky clean record so I'm not suprised that you don't have the same level of benefit of the doubt that people in BR do

But when there are ZERO facts about the situation at all other than that the police want to talk to him, if all it takes for you to to from "I'm not as sure that he didn't do it" to "oh well he did it" was him not getting drafted, then I think you need to reevaluate

They have not said that they "don't believe he's a suspect"

They said he's not a suspect. What that means is "He is not a suspect AT THIS TIME".

On a different note, I think Dallas will make a move and try to get into the top 10 (For a tailback)

I think if they were willing to pay as high of a price to move up that high, they would be calling the vikings

Huh? I said I'm just as sure as LSU fans.

There are facts. He's not a suspect. His ex gf was murdered. He's not a suspect. Who in their right mind would hold off on drafting a guy because he could potentially help police find his ex gf's murderer? That's why they aren't draftif him. Because he had a tradegy in his life and might be of help to the situation.
