Off-season Discussion: DH in the National League
Posted by cubsfan5150 on 12/18/16 at 11:53 am47
How would you feel if the DH were added to the National League?
What about during all World Series games?
Personally, I prefer the way it is now, and I find National League baseball far more interesting than its American League counterpart.
If the DH were added to the NL, I could see my interest in baseball dropping considerably.

No to the DH. American League should consider dropping it too.

Oh yes because watching a pitcher strike out four times a game or better yet get injured trying to bunt or run to first is SOOOO much more interesting,

The NL has some very good hitting pitchers. I would hate the DH in the NL

Adding the DH takes so much strategy out of the game. No thanks.

Give me a typical 2.5 hour NL game with strategy and good pitching over a 3.5 hour AL game that is usually 10-7

You must not watch much NL baseball

The DH is an abomination and fans of American League teams should be ashamed.

If you aren't an athlete, maybe you shouldn't be playing sports professionally. Sorry fat throwers, you probably shouldn't be baseball players.

No DH in the NL puts value on having a pitcher that can hit. Not many can but every once in a while you have a Zambrano or Micah Owings type player. Also, the DH is for old veterans and fat guys. Never been a fan of the DH

If you don't respect the strategy involved in managing an NL game, I'm sorry for you. It's an enjoyable game to watch.
AL baseball is a joke.

Can't debate with someone that knows nothing about the sport.

Heck no. The DH turns baseball into glorified beer league softball. Takes all strategy away.

I hate the DH and I am a fan of an AL team
