Odell's dehydration/cramping problems make so much sense now

In all seriousness, I assume he means that he drinks other fluids like Gatorade. Wouldn't they cause you to have the same feeling in your stomach? Or does he mean that his only intake of fluids is through food high in water content like fruits?
