No, they're not. They're actually really mediocre at it.

You should probably let the Vikings know this

40-year old Brees.

Ligament tear on his throwing hand.

Surgery in mid-Sept.

Still got the Saints into the playoffs.

Still threw for 74%

Still Took the Vikes to overtime

Shoulda known Ree would be ready with the excuses

The 4 games prior to the playoffs the Saints scored 46 (and lost*) 34, 38, 42. Against SF the #1 pass d in the league a month earlier
Brees was 29-40-72.5%-349-5-0 vs Indy he was 29-30-308-4-0. In the 4 games in Dec he threw 15 TD and 0 picks and completed 75.36%. Amazing that age and coming back from thumb surgery suddenly became an issue after all that

*note it is a team game, how is the Bengals defense?

Really?

The Brown family has survived in the pro football business for 75 years. They have parlayed a 25K investment into a franchise worth more than 2 billion dollars. They drafted the QB fresh off the best season in the history of college football.

They're doing OK in the pro football business.

Paul Brown did that. In the 30 years since his death they have not won a playoff game, had one of if not the worst overall winning percentage and earned the #1 pick 4 times (i believe tied for the most). Simply being born to Paul Brown does not make the Brown family good at anything.

You are pretending to be naive AND stupid. A 40 year old Brees recovering from in-season throwing-hand surgery is not the same as a healthy Brees in his prime. No way.

Mike Brown has run the Bengals show almost as long as Paul did.

And MOST of the equity, by far, has been developed since Mike took over.
