How did your teams do today recruiting wise? I know we have fans of many schools here. Any flips, pick-ups?

Pretty good. As of right now they’re:

#65 nationally on 247 (#105 a year ago)
#1 in the Sun Belt (#5 last year)

Signed 19 kids today

Was watching the news and they were saying how they had some recruits get power 5 offers late (although it was from the likes of Kansas and Colorado). But still, that seems like a good haul.

This coach seems like a decent one. Of course, I thought the same about Hud early on as well.

Yeah they pulled a few pretty highly rated 3 star kids. A handful with lower tier P5 offers. I think Napier is going to have them in the mix to win the SBC pretty regularly. We’ll see.

Ohio State lost two guys, one big time Safety and a QB. And maybe a high 4 star guard.

Picked up the #4 overall player.

Overall, not a great day but solid.

We have a small class due to numbers but have a good average.

Rating systems have shown a tendency to inflate the ratings of kids based on where they got offers.

You can't really tell about talent until you get on the field.

A supposed recruiting guru lost his blue chip QB prospect to a basketball school and their 87 year old coach.

With FSU and Miami having issues, how is Florida not running away instate recruiting?

2016: 50th overall, 9th ACC
2017: 53rd overall, 10th ACC
2018: 26th overall, 6th ACC
2019: 26th overall, 3rd ACC

Pretty exciting times as the NC State football program is obviously progressing well
