I just noticed that they don't show the US flag for the US players but the country flags for the other players. Am I missing something or is ESPN really this ridiculous?

Because that format sucked. It gave the nine players too much time to analyze the rest of the tournament.

it really sucked. a tournament is a pretty dynamic setting and they just essentially stopped one tournament at the FT and then created a completely new tournament for the title. way too much time for coaching, data mining, etc. the November 9 shite never made any real sense other than trying to create a spectacle for ratings

Read about the hand Hesp lost most of his chips. Just a flat out terrible overplay. Blumstein isn't pushing that hard with anything less than a set there.
