Now we get to hear the media hype machine sucking Torre off for the rest of the playoffs.

I've been to both, and Fenway doesn't destroy Wrigley. Inside the park, Fenway is better, but the atmosphere outside of Fenway blows compared to Wrigley. In fact, to enjoy the atmosphere outside of Fenway, you have to have a freaking ticket to the game because they block the street with the ticket takers.

Marlins couldn't keep it up.

For most of the year they could. The Astros weren't even a factor until their desperate run in September and really weren't much of a threat.

I am not just going off of record..I am going off of what I saw with my own eyes. I just don't believe the Central was that good. That is a personal opinion and I choose to stick by that opinion.

You still had to play the AssPirates and the Reds about a combined 20-25 times.

NL East has to play the Nats and Braves 20-25 times. Nats lost 100 games...going by your logic, the NL East is the weaker division so your whole argument has now gone down the shitter.

9 more outs, Iona.......this is where I get nervous......our bullpen has been coming on as of late, and is doing lots better now....but the middle of the season they were awful with all of the injuries.......gotta close 'em out.....no drama!!

My only point was that I hate the Cubs more than anything and enjoy their complete choke job they are displaying.

You said I'd feel differently about the Cubs if I lived in Chicago, but I'm saying I wouldn't. My point is that I'm a Cubs fan and you aren't, so I don't expect that you'd go to a Cubs game just because you live in Chicago.

If you're serious, then that he's even trying to compare the two. If I would've known that, I wouldn't have even responded.

Braves >>>>> Reds

Pirates only slightly better than the Nats.

I don't understand how my argument went down the shitter..We can do this head to head if you wish

This is only my opinion and isn't based on W-L

Cubs >>>> Phillies (though this is debatable)

Mets >>>>> Brewers

Marlins >>>>>> Cards

Again, just my opinion. You can feel free to disagree.

....well if we keep playing the way we are, and he brings the Dodgers to the WS, especially compared to our overall postseason record since 1988, Torre should be sucked off by the media!

I did! Sorry for the confusion. You would like this aspect of the city much more than me...but I love living here. The Cubs are really the only negative!

Agreed. But the Mets lost a dependable starter in Maine and their closer, who is one of the best in the game.

I am just saying that I think the Mets are better.

Are we talking Mets in April or September?? Seriously, though, you can't say the Mets are better than the Brewers (definitely not >>>>>) when they were the two teams battling for the wild card and the Mets lost out.

I've been to Chicago 5 times and I know the city is awesome. Convert to the good side, and you'll see the city is even better!
