Milwaukee leads the series 2 games to 1.
make me wanna Schoop
Visiting Brewers
Lorenzo Cain, CF
Christian Yelich, RF
Ryan Braun, LF
Jesus Aguilar, 1B
Mike Moustakas, 3B
Jonathan Schoop, 2B
Manny Pina, C
Orlando Arcia, SS
Gio Gonzalez, LHP
I've already taken a look at how I expect Craig Counsell to gameplan his pitching. As far as the position players, something immediately jumps right off the page here: Schoop. Since the Brewers acquired him from the Orioles, he hit .202/.246/.331 in the regular season and has only gotten two plate appearances -2, K) in the playoffs. He hasn't seen the field this series yet. I wondered if maybe there was some history against Dodgers starter Rich Hill, but Schoop is 0 for 8 with four strikeouts in his career. Counsell must just have a good feeling here.
Home Dodgers
Chris Taylor, LF
Justin Turner, 3B
David Freese, 1B
Manny Machado, SS
Brian Dozier, 2B
Enrique Hernandez, CF
Yasiel Puig, RF
Austin Barnes, C
Rich Hill, LHP
Another surprise at second base. This time against the lefty, Dave Roberts is going with Dozier. Instead of Taylor in center with Matt Kemp on a corner against the lefty, RoberDave Roberts is going with Dozier. Instead of Taylor in center with Matt Kemp on a corner against the lefty, Roberts knocks Hernandez out to center. Dozier hit just .182/.300/.350 after joining the Dodgers in the regular season and is 1 for 5 in the playoffs.

Don't like Schoop being in there. Have a feeling the winner of today's game will win the series.

Im okay with higher upside than Hernan and Shaw will sub in for him as soon as Hill out
ETA: Hill spins a perfect 1st frame

Gio is such trash in the playoffs. Nats never had the balls to pull him early and we always suffered for it.

I dont understand why Counsell decided he was our 2nd best starter TBH. I liked Chase a ton better

How bad was that pitch? I’m at the game right now and my angle I can’t tell

Right down middle - he wasn't mad about the location he was mad he wasn't granted time
Looked 50/50 to me whether or not time should have been granted but tjats twice now that manny was backing out with 2 strikes this series
