Just figured you would see more action since you are neutral. Sedins are awesome.

Depends on where you want to sit. On the glass can be over $200, but you can still get good seats for $50 or less.

Honestly, in the two NHL arenas I've been in (ATL and Nash) there wasn't a bad seat in either place.

ETA: If you are a new fan or you just want to check it out, I would suggest sitting 5-10 rows from the glass. As you understand the game more, I would suggest sitting further back so you can see everything better.

Panthers tickets are nothing down here. I've rode a limo bus down to Miami, with beer down, sat in the box seat, rode the bus back with beer back to west palm, all for $60. Now we had 20 people buy the box for the night and split the costs, but it was awesome.

I actually like the corner about 10-16 rows up. Get the best view of the board play IMO.

Hard to say it depends on the teams. The Caps have sold out 163 games in a row so they are pretty expensive. If you wait as close as possible to game time you can get some reasonably priced tickets.

I went on stubhub. They had tickets listed from $7 all the way to like $400. I paid $87 a piece for mine, which ended up being $100 a piece after fees, but I wanted some damn good seats. First NHL game and I want to take it all in.

Coyotes tix are dirt cheap compared to the major hockey markets and they have sweet promotions all the time to get people to go. My buddy with the Coyotes season tix got buy 2 get 2 free playoff tickets last year and I ended up going to 5 playoff games in our run to the conference finals. The two free tickets were legit, about 15 rows up in the corner down low.

I would sit closer to the home teams attack twice zone. You will see more action. So, row 5 closer to the goal would be better in my opinion. Most teams charge more for the attack twice zone. It is a more desirable location.

Unless your home team is the Coyotes

Seriously, we play so damn defensive and basically play counter attack hockey. I went to the Blackhawk games a few weeks ago with superstars galore and I felt like they had the puck the entire game. It was also 4-0 at the end of the 1st with all their scoring at the other side of the ice

My favorite seats for hockey games are typically around the blue lines about 10 rows from the top of the lower bowl.or the first few rows of the second bowl. This will let you see plays develop and watch the entire ice.

I've sat in just about as many different seat combinations as you can and I've found those to be the best.

My company seats (OT BALLER ALERT) circa 1996-2001 were on row 2 directly behind the very far corner of the Avalanche bench two rows down from Bill Romanowski and about three rows down from Larry Walker. When Forsberg, Deadmarsh or Lemeiux would get stitched up it would be maybe four feet away. Granted, I didn't get every game, but more like every third game...

Those were the days my friend...
Now I just have Center Ice and remember those days findly...

I'm looking forward to it. You definitely had the good seats for the best era though. Those guys with Roy, Sakic, Foote....even half a year of washed up Borque. Not a bad deal.

BTW, my dad is an Avalanche fan. We got into hockey after he took me to a Bulls game around 95. He picked the Avalanche(mostly because of Claude and Roy. I wanted an O6 team. I wrestled between the Leafs and Blackhawks for a while. I still like the Blackhawks and was very happy when they won it. Sometimes I think I made the wrong choice but I'm knee deep now.

No you made the correct choice, never be a Leafs fan. I hope the expansion curse lives on forever

No....I am a Leafs fan. Haha. I chose the Leafs but I was saying I still cheer for the Blackhawks passively.

My bad. I like the way they are built this year, Carlyle is a good coach and I wouldn't want to play them in the playoffs. That being said I still hope they lose. I couldn't imagine how bad the coverage would be on CBC and TSN in Canada if they were to go deep.

I wish they could get a player i'm fully behind though. Kessel is cool, but we gave up too much to get him. Phaneuf has that fricked up fauxhawk that makes him seem like a douche. I like Van Reimsdyke and if Kadri ever sticks....One of these days they'll put it all together though. It will be glorious.

Jackets tickets are pretty cheap too. I guess it's the only positive of sucking arse for so long. I think I'm going to another game here shortly.
