Looks like Colorado will have to out score everyone to win this year just like last

Same for the VGK. Adin Hill is definitely displaying "flash in the pan" status,
ETA: Here's the faceoff circle for the Tahoe Knight Monsters. They're the new ECHL affiliate of the Vegas Golden Knights. Tim Tebow is one of the owners.

Yeah that was brutal. Wasted hat trick from Mikko. Not that the team in front played amazing, I generally thought they were okay.
Georgie had a generally rough season last year made worse by porous defending and giveaways in front of him leading to high quality chances. However, especially in the playoffs, he made lots of good saves on high percentage shots.
I saw nothing encouraging last night - at least 4-5 of those goals he should have saved.
Edit - just read that Vegas expected goals was 2.8 - they scored 8. While advanced stats aren't everything, that says it all

Probably. My attendance record has not been great lately.
Also unsure if Saros plays. He was the first goalie on the ice in morning skate but still questionable.

Avs are going to be forced to trade an top asset, Giorgiev ( or Annunen ) and a first rounder for a legit goalie. A three for one. I know they don’t grow on trees but I just think they somehow get it done late in the season.
Something like Girard, Giorgiev, a 25 first for a starter.
Unless Giorgiev gets demoted because Annunen steps up.

I fully expect st.louis to get a beating in San Jose. Sharks have owned them recently. If they beat the sharks last year, like everyone else did, in 2 of 3, they make playoffs. they were pitiful down the stretch against shite teams.

I’m going to try to watch more Red Wings this year. Just watched the entirety of a game that just ended where we lost to Pittsburgh 6–3

looked like that for the first 2 periods
unlike game 1, where kracken were dominating them for 1 1/2 periods, they had 21 shots on sj goalie in 1st period, so how the hell did they go down 4-1, and then win. that stuff wont last long. it catches up
2-0 to start, and still havent played a full 60 yet.

I picked STL in my OP to be the most improved team this year.
I like the way they are playing.
