Per Schefter:
NFLPA filed a temporary restraining order in Texas, calling for the courts to block any suspension upheld by NFL arbitrator Harold Henderson

This is being filed in the Eastern District of Texas, Sherman Courthouse

Also Elliott filed a suit against the NFL in federal district court in Plano, TX

NFLPA alleging a league-orchestrated conspiracy by Senior NFL officials to hide critical information which would completely exonerate Elliott.

This has Lisa Friel's New York Giant season ticket holding arse written all over it

Didn't know. I don't watch ESPN. And I was at work all day. Didn't see it being discussed on here

Apparently Friel was the main executive pushing for Elliott to be suspended. And the one that blocked all the lead investigators transcripts from being allowed.

I think that's probably true. But I don't believe Goodell didn't know. "Ignorance is not an excuse", right? I think Friel and Goodell conspired to suspend Elliott and now Friel will fall on the sword

Agreed. IMO it's quite obvious Goodell was trying to do anything he could to make an example out of a star player like Zeke

By doing so, his lawyers also allowed the release of details of the investigation. Zeke loves to party, loves coke & coke whores, but doesn't like pregnant whores.

His defense for pulling down that chick's top on St. Patrick's Day was that he slept with her that night so she couldn't have been too mad.

If I was Zeke, I'd sue his accuser and the league for defamation this is ridiculous and labeling a 21-22 year old man a domestic abuser when evidence clearly doesn't prove as such. He'd have a pretty strong case.

It's beginning to sound more and more like the NFL picked the wrong case to show "how tough it is" on domestic violence.

I think they ABSOLUTELY knew the witness had some significant credibility issues but just didn't care. This is appearing to more of a case of a punishment looking for a crime vs the opposite

No. Ignorance of the law is not a defense. But ignorance of the facts, aka plausible deniability, is.

That's what Goodell told the Saints during bountygate
