Don’t grant them draft eligibility.

It’s fine if you don’t want to play this year given the circumstances but you should have to return in 2021 before you can enter the draft.

Chase didn't write the rules - he's just reading them.

He was a great Tiger.

Hopefully he'll be a great pro.

It’s nof just about chase. It’s the principle - if you sit out this year fine but it shouldn’t count towards draft eligibility.

I thought draft eligibility was just three years removed from high school? Nothing about how many years of college you play

OP wins the day for dumbest take. I’m upset chase isn’t playing bc he’s fun to watch. I don’t blame him for making a decision that likely protects his interests and potential future earnings. The timing sucks but this year there’s so much uncertainty that I don’t think it’s right to fault any player opting out.

What about kids whose teams cancelled the season? Would it be better, to you, for Ja'Marr (and other similar player) to transfer to UCLA and then go pro after the season?

It's three years out of high school, that's the rule. So Chase should be punished for following the NFL rule?

Cry more about it

But draft eligibility doesn't care about your college service time it cares just about the actual years.

lol...why would the NFL give a shite?

Some of y'all are making the rest of us look bad with these massive melts.

Yeah, it sucks, but the kid played amazing last year, helped us win a NC, and now he's gonna sit out a weird, shite year in order to get paid.

I cannot blame him.

Why would the NFL not want elite talent to be able to play in their league

lol and most of you frickers swear college ball is better than pro ball.

a good portion of those players don't give a frick about your fandom.

tough titties but its not like LSU isn't good at recruiting so please go drink a beer or something and lighten the hell up

Must consider the feelings of some college fans

Well this is the problem.

I’m going to double down: you should have to stay 4 years AND earn a degree. Would certainly cut down on the number of players going broke/getting arrested/not speaking coherent English.
