I don't see the problem with this. Why would anyone be against women or men playing flag football?

I think the “women” part is the problem.

For the incels and media-deranged folk out there I guess.

The NFL will probably start their own version of the women's flag football version soon enough, their WNBA so to speak.

It will probably lose even more money too. But the NFL can afford to subsidize it.

Why would you not want girls to be interested in football, you can capitalize on the other half of the population.
As the father of a extremely athletic daughter I encourage her to play all sports.

The NFL is transitioning to flag football as a model. If you can't see that, I can't see it for you.

NFL running a series of Nauseating commercials glamorizing women (and men) playing flag football as if this is the future of football…how embarrassing.

It's their bid to survive. Everything I have read states youth participation in football is in a pretty big decline. I'm not sure if I would let any kids I have play football. 7 on 7 is basically the show at a lot of camps now too.

Probably just want to have something to put on TV in the offseason.

Flag football isn't a sport for out of shape people so we'll hopefully get some eye candy in those games.

My daughter played flag her freshman year in HS, this was the first year that it became a girl’s sport here.

As a parent, it’s fun to watch and it’s a “low commitment” sport that hasn’t been saturated (ruined) by looney tunes sports parents and scholarship consequences. It was great…just girls running around, playing for fun and learning a little about the game.

Tells you a lot about the dudes ITT that feel threatened by it.

It keeps them off the streets, where they grow hard and jaded.
