Those guys should never referee again. Not even little league.

Every coach and star player needs to blast these tards in post game interviews.

That was ridiculous.

That was perhaps the most absurd thing I've seen from an officiating standpoint. So embarrassing. How can an organization that makes so much money not employ full time refs?

There have either been too many flags, or too few and bad calls. There's no in between.

Great point, the NFL has to go to full time refs eventually. It's so bad now.

They need to shrink the rule book so the refs are throwing less flags too

The owners refuse to pay refs year-round to train them better.

It would cost the owners .00001% of their salary.

Most of the refs have other jobs right?

A league with this much money can afford to hire refs and have it be more of a full time job/ longer "season for them". They can develop training for them in the off season. Make sure everyone is on the same page and are actually professionals.

Make it mandatory that each franchise pays an equal amount

That was one of the worst jobs of officiating I've ever seen. They essentially just ecouraged jumping offside and purposely injuring the kicker in order to avoid allowing a kick to take place.

I wouldn't be able to hold back my anger back on the sideline if I was Rex

Agree that they need to improve but how would they work full time? It's not like baseball with games every night. They can't hone their craft during the week.

The refs actually have to make a certain amount of money from their other jobs, so they're all pretty wealthy guys

I am still confused as to why he couldn't come back in even though he was injured on a play that never happened. Now on 50 yarders or more at the end of the half you might as well just run offside and hurt the kicker and see if their punter can make it.

Players spend countless hours in film study. Being a professional ref should require intensive film study, training, tests, etc to continue in the profession.
