Nah it's a disaster for them. The league proper will seek to distance itself from Miamis decisions and throw the Dolphins under the bus. They're going to get hammered.

Everyone will conveniently look the other way in a week or 2. Concussions will always be part of football but the Dolphins could have at least tried to follow the medical rules. The player will always want to be out there. Teams skirting the rules to try to squeeze out wins just leads to worse quality of life for players.

I find it amazing that everyone thinks they tried to cover up a concussion. Not in todays world.

The Dolphins always seem to be pulling some shady shite but I’m sure every team in the NFL doesn’t report concussions. That shite happened in high school

Yet again. It’s an independent doctor who is on the sideline. NOT a dolphins doctor. It’s an nfl problem just as much of not more than a dolphins problem.

Hard for the NFL to cover one of their popular QB throwing up involuntary gang signs on prime time TV. This looks bad for the NFL and the NFLPA. I would imagine there will be some swift changes coming to the way possible concussions are handled.

Of course they are, because their own doctors are complicit. Wanted a star player to play in a nationally tlevised game. Tua vs Burrow rematch. Good for the game.

fricking bullshite.

How did he get the job? Who’s paying him? Someone is paying him because he’s not doing that gig for free. Just because someone is deemed @independent” doesn’t necessarily mean he’s “independent.” If this doctor rules out too many players, eventually he quits getting the gig because one side (the NFL/owners) will see too many players sitting out and won’t want to let him work.

Tua was determined to have “gross motor instability” Sunday before he was allowed back into the game. Who made the decision to let him go back into the game?

Sportswriters and NFL twitter hate Stephen Ross because he was wearing a MAGA hat as he walked back to his Manhattan hotel room after he held a fundraiser for Trump in the fall of 2016.

Mark Liebowitz wrote about that scene in his book "Big Game the NFL in dangerous times".

Just keep that in mind. They have hated him since then.
