So do they strictly go by the symptoms that the players start showing and answers he gives in their evaluations, or do they also take a look at the hit itself? don't they have access to these replays in the tent?

Of course I'm talking about the Tom Savage hit, which me being a dumbass, could spot he was showing signs immediately after. I just don't understand how they could send his arse back out there even though he was probably 'aware' of his answers when they were asking him in the evaluation stage.

I don't know the answers to your questions, but I can say that the fact that Savage was sent back out there makes it pretty obvious that this sytem isn't working.

They've fricked up a few times this year, it is going to be one of the things they look at in the offseason for sure.
This is a joke

Current neuro symptoms compared to a baseline established earlier in the year is how it has been explained to me.

But I always assumed this as well. Apparently not. It just can't be possible based on the Savage situation. I don't think any physician would have seen those symptoms and cleared him.

What about the Cousins hit in the Saints game?

Dude got destroyed, couldnt get up, and had his head slouched in his lap in another world. No one said shite because all the attention was on their WR who just got his leg blown out

During the saints falcons game, the announcers said that the independent neurologist had watched the kamara replay three times in slow motion. At that point there was no way he was coming back in the game with the way he staggered off the field afterwards.

I always thought that was a weird way to view an injury and be the determining factor.

Everything looks worse in slow motion when it involves big hits.

We missed that one. We aren’t a fan of any individual concussion, but a fan of the league of concussions in general.
