That thing looks pretty badass. If they ever build it they should keep the Georgia Dome there for Motorcross, MonsterJam, Professional Bullriding. shite like that so they can have those events year round and bring in more money.

For a few brief hours on Sunday - everyone can suspend belief inside that brand new stadium...that they're not in ATL anymore.

Gotcha. I try to avoid ATL-NO pissing matches, I guess I should have read further into the context. It really is a pretty marvelous structure. Not exactly picturesque, though.

I hear ya, I like the radical architecture, but can also appreciate the very cool traditional stadiums.

People overreact to what stadiums look like on the outside. - like the new Niners stadium.
It's about what they're offering for the fan experience on the inside.
Owners are having to offer something that draws people away from the comforts of their HD TV Redzone living room.

Pretty sure they didn't host it because it was the Superdome. They had it there because it was in New Orleans.

This is correct, they are doing tons for the inside experience. Looks pretty exciting as a fan.

People care about atmosphere. Saints are well known to have a good atmosphere.

Nobody likes the Superdome except for Saints fans. It's not exactly the Rose Bowl or Fenway like they for some reason make it out to be.
