Yea hitting the new AP2 716's, like them a lot so far, the CB's are supposedly real forgiving as well compared to the last few models.

I hit the 716 CB's at my clubs demo day a couple months ago. They were pretty great and I'm not the worlds most consistent ball striker.

I bought my ap2 716's but have not been able to hit them yet. Damn rain will not stop. Hoping to at least get to the range sometime this week. Heard really good things about them.

Yep they feel great, more square vs rounded toe at address and the tungsten in the long irons add some forgiveness for sure, overall very good irons, have had my set for about a month now, got them a few weeks before release and have 3-4 rounds on them so far.

If you don't feel like dropping $1200, I would just go with the 714s. You can find some in excellent condition for half that. I believe the stock shaft in the 716 is the True Temper DG AMT - That's probably the biggest difference between the two models.
