I used to hate Tiger. I thought he was a total immature prick.

In hindsight, he's probably no different than 90% of the other PGA tour guys behind the scenes.

The kicker for me was when he got pulled over and was blasted out of his mind on pills in Florida. Not once did he use the "Do you know who I am" excuse.

He was on Pluto but was still respectful and cooperative to the cop. Really, That was the turning point for me. He's the biggest draw in sports of my lifetime outside of MJ. I am regretful that I never followed him like I should have in the early 00s

Good post , Jack Ruby. I agree with you.

I'm not typically into tabloid type stuff and Tiger is sacred to me as a sports fan but I admit I would be interested in getting some background of just how much power, reach and influence he wielded from people in the trenches with him. The guy had this whole life outside of golf that very few, if any, knew anything about. This is one of the most recognized and influential people in the world at the time. It's amazing really that it was kept so quiet for so long.

I'm not interested in some whore's dear diary version of events.

Agreed, and he kinda was. But eventually I realized it wasn't so much Tiger I hated, but his fans and the media.

Right or wrong, I didn't like that every tournament he entered turned into 4 daily hours of Tiger.

Also, I am/was a Jack fan, so I didn't really want his record to be broken.

But I will say this, I find myself rooting for him now that he's older and still playing well, sometimes. I still love his swing.

I always said he would never catch Jack, and ten years ago I thought I was right, but if he somehow wins a couple more majors, I'll be pulling for him.

I already know enough about him to know he's an a-hole and all around shitty person.

Pass.

How does this documentary cover the part where he was arse-railing IHOP waitresses in the home of his wife and children while raging on roids?...

Where’d you hear this? I thought he was just paying high priced hookers.

get what you're saying and agree about his overall good nature, but Tiger doesn't have to use that line anywhere, and especially in that area. They knew, and he knew they knew. ?

Isn't that the point. It was Tiger Woods..In 2007 I was going from the airport to downtown Buenos Aires and see a billboard with Tiger on it....easily one of the most recognizable people in the world....

And he still got the mugshot after being pulled over.

I’d buy a golf game with quicktime events to keep from getting hit and then lie to the cops.

Unfortunately, Outlaw Golf has been dead since the original Xbox.

"Some whore's diary"? So what does that make Tiger, he who was cheating, a lot, on his wife & child? The second best golfer in the world? Unquestionably. A person to be admired & respected? Nope.
