I agree. A poorly worded article from both wwl and the AP have already started the narrative, though. Which is all you need in today’s overreactionary culture

Shocker. The press takes an opportunity to shite on the Catholic Church and used a click bait headline to garner the most clicks.

Astros fans will now resort to calling Saints fans pedophiles to make themselves feel better about the fact that they don't know what it's like to watch their team win a real title.

They're on the cusp of the "Denial" and "Anger" phases.

This would be a very weird/cringey flex.

In their defense, the catholic church has made it very easy lately to find things to shite on them for.

Archbishop and Bensons are close. If my organization was under negative publicity and my small communications staff with limited experience handling critical communications had the ability to get help/guidance from professionals representing a billion-dollar company who deal with the national media daily...I'd be on the phone with my friend ASAP.

The Saints are also opening themselves up to possible legal problems involving their employees. The PR staff was ordered to provide services to a religious organization involving illegal and disturbing activities.

Was it voluntary, or did the staff feel forced to work on this project? I wouldn’t be surprised if disgruntled members of the staff are providing details to the opposing attorneys.

I don’t understand why a professional sports franchise and a Christian Church are in bed together ? Why are these two organizations connected at all ?

Why would a professional sports team help out the catholic church? Are they a team sponsor or something? Why are they in this conversation together?

Why would I need to imagine being Catholic when I am Catholic?

No. You’re supposed to hate Dallas more than both of them.
