Half of Lafayette going as usual?

It'a compliment to ULL and their fans that they always draw so well at the bowl game

Clearly people didn't care about the caliber of the teams in past years, especially from the ULL side.

I knew this would happen for the following reasons:

1) Shitty kickoff time
2) ULL fans are tired of the N.O. Bowl

10am start and fourth year in a row. Not surprised that it's slacking.

This. It was a prime-time game the last few years. There's a huge difference between a 6:00pm start and 10:00am, especially if one is driving in from Acadiana.

10am on a Saturday is still MUCH BETTER than the awful time/bowl LSU got stuck with.

The ONLY reason this generated interest and tickets last year was because it was ULL vs Tulane.

I think ULL fans would have been tired of it a year ago if the in-state game didn't come into play.

A lot of my Cajun fan friends aren't going this time, they tell me that the LA Tech loss killed a lot of the energy the fans felt for this team and they haven't recovered

Were they ever NOT sluggish for this bowl? Half the stadium got free tickets from burger king and popeyes. (not kidding, those tickets are worthless).

I'll be there, but a 10 am kickoff in Nola kinda kills the night before and the whole pregame atmosphere
