I went to a Nebraska volleyball game the night before South Alabama played NU in football. I actually had to buy my tickets on stubhub which is insane but the atmosphere was awesome. Completely sold-out arena and tons of tailgating going on outside.

People love being part of a sideshow spectacle...like NASCAR at the LA Coliseum or CFB at a NASCAR track...

I too have seen the pics.
*UW has the largest attendance for a regular season game. They sold out the Kohl Center when Duke came to town. I think they average around 6K normally playing in the Field House. Had almost 17K at Kohl.

Just announced, largest crowd at a women's sports event in history. I can't imagine the feelings from all the small town Nebraska girls on the team, quite a few

That’s honestly incredibly cool. Very very impressive. Not sure how many other schools could even try to get half that amount
