A timetable for Book’s return is unknown at this point, although there's some hope he'll be ready for the Syracuse game on November 17th at Yankee Stadium.

So that it’s a fair assessment I’d like to see NDs third string QB take the majority of snaps in this game.

When the highlight of your season is getting to wear a backpack...things are bad.

Ian Book has a rib injury that he sustained in the 1st quarter of the Northwestern game. He finished the game with over 300 yards passing & scored the final touchdown on a 23 yard run.

It makes sense to sit him out this game against Florida State since it will be about 25 degrees on Saturday night in South Bend..... not the best weather for sore ribs! I’m sure he’ll be ready for Syracuse the following week in Yankee Stadium. Also, since it’s the Senior Game, it’s nice that Brandon Wimbush (coincidently a Senior) will start at quarterback.

By the way, Enjoy the nice November weather Florida State!

ND would actually have to play without a quarterback to lose to FSU.

Jordan Jefferson could probably beat FSU at this point

Doesn’t matter. They could put a literal book at QB and beat FSU
