UNC is playing well. We are waking up I think. Need to keep it close. I don’t think UNC will keep this up for 40 min. If they do, they deserve to win for sure.

How shitty of a job did Hubert Davis do in the regular season to earn an 8 seed with this roster? They look demonstrably more talented than Baylor.

I will never understand why UNC was an 8 seed.
25-9 on the year. They started off slow but it was apparently obvious to anyone who watched them down the stretch that they had started to put it together, which was inevitable. Just too much talent.
They are a Top 10 team in basketball right now IMO

The weakness for UNC all season has been their depth. Their bench guys are arse.
You can’t have your starters playing 36 MPG in the regular season. You need to develop other guys and not tire out your starters.
But in the tourney, you can cut a lot of bench minutes out. Good news for UNC is their starting 5 is really freaking good.

This reminds me of Illinois/Loyola last year in that the seeds would indicate the game was an upset but the game itself indicates the higher seed was just better.
