Upon reconsideration, I basically will agree with this. By chasing low ACT scores, the Cajuns took the tact to become the best sunbelt team possible. If they wanted to grow beyond or outside the sunbelt, they needed a different approach.

Whoops

Was on my phone. I edited.

I appreciate the education I got there and the fact I could drive from my podunk town to Lafayette.. I just had a few classes with really dumb people.. I saw two girls cat fight in front of the business building.. I had classses where the teacher gave us the math test; told us how to do the problem; just changed the numbers; and people in the class still made F's.

Seriously, were you in remedial classes?
In the last few years they have gotten rid of those and now shuttle those types of students to SLCC, BRCC, LSUE, etc until they're ready for real college. In the past all those numb nuts would enroll and drop out within the first year and cause the graduation rate to be abysmal

No I did not take remedial classes. In fact I was nominated for student of the year; but yes this was 10 years ago.

Is Hudspeth absolutely gone after this season?

I think he meant the assistant coach is gone.

I'm sure that assistant was hired precisely because he could get high risk athletes eligible. I'm also sure Hudspeth didn't know how he was doing it. It boils down to whether reasonable due diligence was performed.
