NBA Win streak discussion thread

Rockets have a 17 game win streak going:
Rockets win @ Toronto and they have a shot to beat their franchise record 22 game win streak (would tie the win streak against the pels)
Pelicans with a 10 game win streak:
Pels are looking at a loss tomorrow with AD status up in the air, but I'm hoping the win streak continues.

If Davis is hurt it's tough to not see it happening. The wizards have been a good team without wall.

I'm not confident about Friday. I just want the Pels to do enough to stay in the top 4 for the playoffs, whatever that takes. Hopefully, AD isn't out too long.

I'm sorry, didn't know giving them credit for the win streak is trashing them.
As for the streak ending...It's not "hating" to assume it'll end with AD out. I'm pretty sure most reasonable hoops people would make the same assumption. Maybe we can wait until Vegas puts a line on the game.

Feel bad for you guys I’ve never seen a team that has won 10 straight be as much of an after thought as you guys. Can’t even find a mention on ESPN nba home page other than “Davis (ankle) leaves hurt for 2nd straight night”

I feel bad that your sports self esteem is tied to what ESPN says about your team on its page. No pels fan is looking to see them mention the team

I was just looking at the web page. I don’t watch much ESPN at all. Don’t see anything. We all like to see our guys get their due credit.

That's only because the Rockets have a 17 game win streak going.
The Pels 10 game streak is pretty impressive especially considering most people thought their season was over after Cousins went down and considering they were a mediocre team at best even before he went down.

Well they can’t play at the pace they are playing at now with cousins. They had to change some things up.. Are they better without cousins. Likely yes.

I personally never liked Cousins paired with AD on their team. I never thought it would be a good fit.

Pels had won something like 8 out of 9 and beat the vaunted Rox with Boogie going off. Battling for the six seed at the time iirc.
But yeah. Mediocre.
