Seems odd. Why wait two months? The postseason will just be getting going when football starts up. College football and the NFL will swallow it up.

Nba usually doesn’t play their biggest games on the weekends. Only during the first round of the playoffs. Lots of playoff games on Tuesday Wednesday Thursday.
last years finals had 1 Sunday game.
