Houston-GS doesn’t go 7.
LeBron doesn’t make playoffs.
Toronto-Milwaukee in the East finals.
Durant hurt and will miss multiple games.

Putting on a tin foil hat some could say giving NO the first pick entices AD to stay in NO. Allowing Durant to go to NY but not being able to build an instant super team in NY. So maybe they rigged it to combat super teams?

I guess the point of my initial post was lost on a few people. I don’t think the NBA is rigged nor do I think the NFL is rigged. The amount of coordination that would be involved in something like that would almost certainly lead to “rigging” being made public knowledge sooner than later.
As one poster noted above, the entire point of my post is that there have been multiple occurrences over the past month or two that would clearly weigh against a reasonable finging that the league is rigged. If Vince McMahon was running the NBA, would LeBron be at home for the playoffs? Would Minn-Toronto be in the ECF? Would Zion be going to New Orleans?
As to who “y’’all” are in the post above, I’m not sure who you mean. I don’t have any particular allegiance to any NBA team. If it is a reference to the Saints, I do not believe the NFL rigged the game to keep the Saints out of the Super Bowl. Bad calls happen. The fact that a really bad call happened at the worst possible time is not strong evidence of some grand collusion by Goddell or the league.

When people say rigged, I think they mean certain events have been rigged. Not that the entire thing is scripted
