Hes never had even a semi good coach at the pro level until this season and he's in year two of repairing a completely broken jump shot. He's put in the work but he's too fricked up in the head still to have any real confidence to break through the bad stretches of play.

His jump shot was never even remotely an issue until luke Waltons staff got its hands on him. Ive read stuff that basically says he really over-rotates his hips now, or at least when he was with the lakers, as compared to when he was at UCLA and that's why he largely shoots better when he can create that little step back now. Because it allows him to keep balanced
He got botched by the lakers development staff and then just never had the temperament to get through the tough times I guess. Frustrating case of what would have been as he truly does so much at a truly elite level

Hes shooting from his stomach/hips. It's middle school shite.

He let's his bad shooting dictate his mentality of every other facet of his game. He's not doing anything good this year, and I have no problem part of that is stans fault for slowing down the pace of the game so much this year. Hopefully it changes.
