If they continue to play like they have they will win the Stanley Cup. They are playing lights out right now

That's simply not true, Edmonton/Anaheim would still be favored over ther and whomever comes out of the East, Pittsburgh, will be great as well.

Nashville, has had some amazingly lucky bounces, and some fortunate refereeing helping them a long the way.

Now, in playoff hockey, lucky bounces are really the only way goals are scored, but regardless it won't last forever.

Rinne is good, not great, and I still think the Blues end up taking this series when they wake up.

Nashville would stomp Edmonton. Anaheim would be the favorite against Anaheim however. I think Nashville stands the best chance of upsetting the Pens in the SCF though...barring a miracle comeback by the Caps. Anaheims goaltending is still a big question mark. That's really their only weakness. Nashville has a great defense, timely goal scoring, and great goaltending right now. That's a great recipe for success in the playoffs.

If Pitt continues to play like they are, then no one is stopping them from winning back-to-back.

Preds have been playing GREAT. but lets be honest, the Blues are the better 5 on 5 team. If they can just stay out of the box, this series is a complete toss-up. I would be very surprised if this series goes anywhere but 7 games.

The blue went on a run at the end of the year because of a weak back end schedule. I'm not saying they are bad but that definitely helped. The Preds are finally playing to their ability on a consistent basis. I think calls have gone both ways...Preds didn't even get a PP in the only game they lost. I think the preds are the better 5 on 5 team. Blues may have better top end but depth is definitely on the preds side. 13 different players have scored for them this post season. That's eye popping.

As much as it makes me vomit to say, no one is beating Pittsburgh if they keep their foot on the pedal like they have been.

Add in the fact Fleury is playing out of his mind, Pittsburgh is by far playing the best hockey out of all remaining teams.

One of those games being a 4-1 win against the preds...No team was better since the ALL-STAR break, not just the last week or two, than the Blues.

The Blues were the better 5 on 5 team in game 1 and 2.

Subban outplayed the entire Blues team in game one. Could've had 4 goals himself.

Preds have led or been even with the blues for all but 3 and a half (or so) minutes of the entire series. Just so happens that that 3:30 was the final ticks of game 2. But they led that game even with a 5:00 major and PP goal off of that.

Game 3 they completely outplayed Blues. Not even close. 12:00 of second period without even recording a shot?! 1:30 of 5v5 puck position on offensive side for Preds that could've prolly continued if Josi didn't snipe i goal from deep. 4:30 of 6v5 with nothing to show for it.

Preds may have lost the last regular season game against them but they still won the retailer season series vs the Blues

Again, agree, but thats why I said blues were the better 5 on 5, Subban had 2 ppg? I know preds had at least 2 pp goals on the night.

Yep, as I said, Blues were the better 5v5 in game 1 and 2. Never said anything about 3.

Correct. but why should I care about results from the first 2 months of the season?

p.s. the Blues are being totally out coached right now.

I don't think anyone can play with Pittsburgh right now, which is incredible as they are missing their top defenseman and #1 goalie.

lmao. you really think 1 goal/poss changes that?

Read the convo before, no one said the Blues were the better team in game 3. In any aspect of the game.

Pretty sure he's a Blues fan. He's delusional.

Honestly, not sure how I could argue any longer about the blues being the better 5v5 in game 1 and 2. I mean, I'm no hockey experts, but even they agree with that lol.
