Well... that was easy.
There is also another player that was drafted in 1999 but didn't start playing until 2002.

I'm pretty sure a majority of current players were playing basketball before 2000 with the exception of the last couple draft classes.

It's amazing that Vince Carter is still in the NBA as a player that dominated due to his athleticism. Dude just turned 41 and could realistically still have a huge impact on an NBA playoff team off the bench. *Cough* Pelicans *Cough*

How old is Jamal Crawford
37. He was drafted in 2000 though

They were playing basketball. Just not professionally.

No. He was drafted in 99, but didn’t arrive until the 2000s.

I’m convinced Crawford could play till he’s 50.

He's always been a good shooter. That is basically all he does now

The ONLY reason the Pelicans still have a shot at playoffs this season after Boogie's injury is because the 9th place Clippers just traded Griffin and went into full rebuild mode. And if we get in it'll probably be as the 8 seed with a 1st round matchup vs Warriors.
No reason for the Pels to be making any moves at the trade deadline unless it involves getting rid of Asik's contract.

That was the answer to the second question

Watching Vince and Manu go at it earlier this week for a combined 36 points was incredible to behold
