What’s crazy is we have football Directly lead to kids dying or being paralyzed, horrific leg injuries, etc etc and yet we still go on

But now that football could indirectly lead to someone getting a virus that isn’t that harmful for the extreme majority of cases, we need to potentially shut it down.
Don't the players also have the option to opt out and still keep their scholarship? Or do I have that wrong?

Feeney is a 6-foot-4, 325-pound lineman from St. Louis, Mo. Here is his mother's complete Facebook post:

Did this 6-foot-4, 325-pound lineman not have interaction with anyone other than teammates?
Did he go anywhere other than practice & his room?

Now we are dealing with possible heart issues! He is still experiencing additional symptoms and his blood work is indicating additional problems. Bottom line, even if your son’s schools do everything right to protect them, they CAN’T PROTECT THEM!!

Look at Austin deculus, and then look at this kid

One carries 300lbs with mainly muscle, and one carries it with fat that is coaxed all around his organs, though neither is ideal or anywhere near “perfectly healthy”

The one group I have been worried about during their was Oline and DT. They are obviously the most likely to get hit by this harder.

We are learning more every day that obesity is one of the biggest factors that can lead to serious complications.

A 325 lb incoming freshman looks like he’s carrying a lot more fat than muscle. He’s the type to be at a higher risk than others his age.

I think a lot of us have figured some fat or otherwise unhealthy player is going to die of COVID and there goes the season. If I'm the schools and hearing from parents freaking about health protocols, I just shut everything down instead of dealing with it.

Imagine not comprehending satire to the point you mirror exactly what I was satirizing.

Did you have to stop and catch a breath after your furious typing, champ?

It's almost a guarantee that he got the virus while outside of that environment. In other words, it's flawed logic to think that football did this.

it is possible, though maybe not likely, but that will not even be considered. It's like a murder case where you have a likely suspect and don't even look at anything else, that's the narrative with this and sports.

Fat people are at huge risk. This is not a perfectly healthy person.

So 40-50% of lineman should just not play this year? If y’all are saying this kid wasn’t healthy then y’all have some hard truths to come to terms with...

That's why it's going to be different for football players. Baseball and basketball players are much leaner and better cardiovascular condition. A 300lb lineman..not so much.
