MNF announcer idea

Since Tess and Booger are fricking terrible and no one likes them I got to thinking about who could replace them. But then I was thinking why not try something different? In 2019 when there is a much greater understanding of the game than ever....why not get rid of traditional announcers who call every single play and try to dissect every little thing?
ESPN should just have Tom Jackson, Randy Moss, Cris Carter, and Keyshawn Johnson talk shite and tell jokes during the game. Obviously they would keep up with the games and talk about what’s happening but not break down every 2 yard run.
shite would be amazing. I envision basically the TNT NBA studio crew calling a football game.

I vote to put all of Booger's comments into the google robot and have it regurgitate summaries during the game. At least it will be entertaining.

I’d rather just be able to hear the stadium announcer all game and watch the action and then show replays.

They tried the comedy angle with Dennis Miller. He sucked too. I’d like to see Zach Galifinakis and Theo Von in the booth

I have a feeling that this crew will be demoted to CFB next year and the Steve Levy crew, with perhaps a swap of someone for Griese, will become the MNF crew.

so.... like you are hanging out with a bunch of guys while watching the game, ya, that does sound much better, but not the group you mentioned, just get some normal guys and tell them no dissecting the game or detailed analysis, just keep it brief and simple and breathe between sentences so there is as much silence as there is talking.
also, any time you arent showing on the field action it must be showing the cheerleaders, those girls work their asses off to be there and deserve lots of camera time

I had to listen to radio call tonight vs watching live.

It's not the people announcing the games you need to replace. It's the people scheduling the games.

They’re a good crew, but I’m assuming Westwood One/CBS wouldn’t just let them waltz over to ESPN.
