Its been a pretty big question though. I would ok, not happy, but ok, with trading him if I had any faith that the idiots in charge could get any kind of good haul for him.

Noah would cost how many MLB/Top 10 prospects? 3? 2 + one young MLB? More?

Next year is his arbitration year, right?

So how much total control would a trade deadline deal give you?

Declining K rate for 2nd straight year, whip career high, WAR career low, HR's allowed on pace for career high, ERA almost 5.

I'd be so pissed if my team traded half their farm for him.

at least 2 top 20 prospects and one legitimate young major league piece

Painfully expensive. just rip the bandaid off.

On our end I'd expect something like Kyle Tucker, JB Bukauskas, Framber Valdez and a lower level lottery ticket.

Well, with that kind of control, you're gonna give up 2 top 10s and some filler for sure.

With Tucker being top 10 overall, I could see a lower top 10 and someone off the 40 man

I have more reservation about Thor than I do someone like Bauer, and would expect the prospect price to reflect that.

for us probably verdugo, ruiz, and may or lux

seems like that wouldnt be good enough to win in a bidding war

No one really knows, teams value guys differently anyway.

ETA: Not to mention fans seem to both overrate and underrate some prospects

I'd be totally up for giving up Louisaga, Schmidt, and others for Thor

Just to get this back on first page

@JonHeyman Despite twitter rumors, I hear there’s been no talk to this point between the Braves and Jays involving Marcus Stroman. “Total fabrication,” is a phrase I heard

I don’t think the Yankees have the prospect pieces to get Thor, to be honest.

There arent many who do. But the Yankees have some major league talent that could

Braves and Astros do. I’d favor them if Thor was to get moved. If they want bats, Houston wins. Pitching, advantage Atlanta.

Teams will listen on Turang but Mets have a glut of MI prospects

Zach Brown and Lutz are interesting pieces. Ray, Peralta, and Burnes can complete a package.

I'm really interested in what he goes for. Should be the most expensive trade in recent memory

The dodgers could put together a decent offer but I doubt we will
