Its just due to the lockout - any CBA they agree to will include reintroducing testing.
That said, getting rid of it entirely is just fine with me. Give me dudes built like Brock Lesnar hitting 600 foot bombs and put Barry in the HOF.

I think this is just a temporary thing until they reach a new agreement. Otherwise, MLB will be a sham and all future players should have an * by their names.
